Delivering in congested urban areas
This talk introduces several time-dependent vehicle routing problems. The time-dependent VRP is important in city logistics as its solution impacts the performance of distribution companies and can help design policies to improve traffic and congestion issues. In the talk, we will introduce mathematical models for several classes of time-dependent VRP, concluding with some managerial insights.
